全国に展開を進めるコインランドリーブランドの新店舗である。
洗練されたデザインと洗濯の技術に特化した個性を押し出し、圧倒的な差別化ができる店舗スタイルを確立したいと依頼を受け、必要の無い壁や天井を無くし、設備や機械をできるだけ隠さず露出させることを考えた。
機械の上部を大きな換気ダクトや設備配管が走っているさまは、まるで工場の裏側を見ているようで、普段のランドリーとは違った臨場感が溢れる。
そうしてコンクリートと金属で統一された空間に、木工の造作家具を配置し、サイン計画を整えることで、清潔で居心地の良いランドリーを演出した。
This project is a new store for a nationwide coin-operated laundromat branch in Japan.
In response to a request to establish a store style that allows for overwhelming differentiation by
emphasizing a refined design and personality that specializes in cutting-edge laundry
technology, we eliminated unnecessary walls and ceilings to expose equipment and machinery
without hiding them as much as possible.
Large air ducts and plumbing running above the machines make it look as if you are looking at
the innards of a factory, giving the store an air of excitement that differs from an ordinary
laundromat.
We arranged wood furniture within the concrete and metal-composed space, and along with a
neat signage plan, we succeeded in providing a clean and comfortable laundry experience.
